"I originally bought a dress from a bridal store at a mall here in Alberta, Canada. I picked out a dress I liked, and the bridal store promised me that they would get it altered perfectly to my size. Fast forward to 5 weeks later, I picked up the dress and I was so upset because it still didn't fit me. I only had a few days before the wedding and I didn't have enough time to do more alterations. I was so stressed.
Ate Seychelle heard about my dress tragedy story through my sister who is currently working as an intern for Silviyana. She asked for my measurements right away and sent me a box with 4 dresses to try on. I wore the Serena dress on my wedding day. It was a perfect size, more accurate than the bridal store I bought the first dress from. Would definitely recommend for brides-to-be who are dress shopping in the middle of this pandemic. It was a wonderful experience overall. In addition to that, trying on the dresses felt like a very personal moment as she had a handwritten note inside the box.
I love how it was beautiful and the fact that it was made sustainably was a big plus! In addition to that, it was like a tribute to my Filipino roots as the materials were ethically sourced from the Philippines- this dress was made of pineapple leaf fibres! I had an amazing time during the wedding cause the dress was really light, comfortable and easy to move around in.
The bridal store where I bought the original wedding dress just cared about making a profit, they sold me a dress that was 6 sizes bigger and convinced me that they can alter it to fit me just so they can sell the dress. Whereas with Silviyana, they put people first. They really care about their clients, the people working for them and where they source their materials. Silviyana is focused on creating a positive impact on the economy, community and environment. If I were to rewind time, I would've definitely gotten my dress from Silviyana and not the dress from the bridal store at the mall."

"I had the best time wearing this dress at my wedding. I felt beautiful, confident, and elegant in a cool, relaxed kind of way. The dress was light, yet had some heft to the skirt that felt and looked great swooshing around. What I loved the most, however, was the organic cotton lining that felt so comfortable I honestly wouldn’t have minded falling asleep in the dress, and the piña fabric that had a texture unlike that of every other bridal gown I’ve seen.
Seychelle, the owner, was so so kind, patient, generous, and professional from beginning to end. She was transparent with pricing, and always gave me ample space and time to think things over. During those (not so few) times when I’d get overwhelmed with wedding planning, Seychelle was also there going beyond her job to lend an ear and even share useful breathing techniques, lol!
Apart from the obviously pretty dresses and eco-conscious reasons for choosing Silviyana, I’d say it’s their outstanding customer service that I assure you will make your wedding dress experience a magical one.
